This is my dad’s favourite recipe which is a simple Indian cuisine dish.. In this I made innovation where I made instant gujiyas of bread, healthy roasted mixed seeds , served with yoghurt , mint and tamarind chutney.. so the outcome is superbly healthy and delicious..

- 8-10 bread slices
- 2 cup curd
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (I have used almonds, raisins, cashews and pistachios)
- 1 tbsp mixed crushed roasted seeds (flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, melon seeds)
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp tamarind and dates chutney
- 1 tbsp mint chutney
- to taste Salt
- Some chaat masala and red chilli powder to sprinkle
Instructions to make to make Bread Gujiya Chaat
- Remove the sides of bread and for stuffing take all chopped nuts in a bowl, add roasted crushed mixed seeds, chopped Ginger, green chilli, chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt and mix everything well.
- Take water in a bowl, dip bread slices in water and now squeeze in our palms to take off the extra water.
- Now stuff the bread slices with mixture and shape it like a gujiya.
- Now take oil in a pan. Slowly flip the gujiyas one by one into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
- Now in a big bowl add curd, sugar and whisk it well and after frying the gujiyas dip them in water to make it soft for few seconds.
- Now take out from water, squeeze very lightly and put them in whisked curd.
- Now before serving, place gujiya on a serving plate, pour the whisked curd, date and tamarind chutney, some mint chutney And also sprinkle some chaat masala, red chilli powder and top it with pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves and serve.
